From the Vault: Gregor Robertson, in his own words

LISTEN to excerpts from the Jan. 14, 2018 edition of thePodcast. The former Vancouver Mayor is attempting a political comeback with Mark Carney's Liberal Party.

The same day Mark Carney called the federal election for April 28, Gregor Robertson announced he would run for the Liberal Party in Vancouver Fraserview-South Burnaby.

Robertson became Vancouver’s 39th mayor in 2008, after promising a greener, kinder city where homelessness would be a thing of the past by 2015. Three elections later, he left office in 2018 with a legacy of more luxury towers and mansions and more homeless and addicts. Under Robertson’s watch, the 2010 Winter Olympics host city became one of the world’s money laundering capitals.

Listen to highlights of the Jan. 14, 2018 edition of thePodcast, featuring the most consequential and controversial mayor in Vancouver history.
